PRETENDING TO BE IN LOVE

I can fake a smile when I feel horrible. I can pretend to be happy. I can do a lot, but what I can’t do is pretend that I don’t love you.

But I can't keep pretending it’s okay when it’s not. You hurt me and you try to get me to forget it, and get past it but, it's just not that simple.

Convincing people that you just want to be friends when you really want to be more than just friends; Knowing he/she has somebody new yet you act like it doesn’t hurt, when it hurts so badly.

When you say you have moved on but the truth is you are still waiting. When you say it's over but you still love him/her. Pretending you are not affected but dying inside.

The truth is some people will pretend to care just so they can get a better seat to watch you struggle. Not every helping hand is always there to help!

For people are so funny. They buy things they don't need, to impress people they don't like, with money they don't have. You will break your own heart loving a pretender.
One thing you don't know is when you love people, you want what is best for them, and sometimes what is best for them is not you.

You should never pretend you love when you don't.
Be careful who you pretend to be. You might forget who you really are.
