I still have a political ambition – Nollywood Actor Osita Iheme
Popular Nollywood actor, Osita Iheme aka Paw Paw due to his ‘Aki & Paw Paw’ fame has reaffirmed that he still has valid political ambition during a recent interview, the actor said he has always wanted to be a leader so as to provide good things for this people.
In a recent interview with Punch, the Osita Iheme said
‘while growing up, I didn’t have anything particular in mind that I wanted to do. I just grew up and found myself acting. Like I said earlier, I started my acting career in church and from there, I picked up the interest to become an international actor’.
He added that,
‘by the special grace of God, I still have a political ambition. I have always wanted to be a leader so as to provide good things for my people. There is something that keeps pushing me to do that and I cannot seem to shrug it off. I know that when the time is right, the dream would become a reality’.
Osita Iheme is a Nigerian actor. He is widely known for playing the role of ‘Pawpaw’ in the film Aki na Ukwa alongside Chinedu Ikedieze. Osita Iheme (popularly known as Paw-Paw) has often been described as one of the best actors of his generation.
He is the founder of Inspired Movement Africa. A movement set aside to inspire, motivate and stimulate the minds of young Nigerians and Africans. In less than a decade he has gone on to become one of the most in-demand actors in Nollywood.
In 2007 Osita received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the African Movie Academy Awards.[1] He is considered to be one of Nigeria’s most famous actors.[2] In 2011, he was honored as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).

Osita Iheme was born on February 20, 1982 into a family of five children. He hails from Mbaitoli, Imo State, Nigeria. Born and bred in Abia State, Osita has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Lagos State University.
