As earlier reported by LIB, the Bauchi State Police Command
paraded crime suspects last week including two arrested for criminal
conspiracy, incest and attempt to commit homicide.
On March 24th at about 7am,
police detectives attached to Gamawa Division arrested one Dije
Abdulkadir, 20, from Gara ward in Gamawa LGA of Bauchi State. The
suspect gave birth to a baby girl and threw her inside
the well with the intent to kill her.
Dije confessed that her biological father one Abdulkadir
Mohammed, 55, impregnated her so when she delivered the baby, decided
to kill her.
Both suspects confessed to the heinous act and were subsequently charged to court for prosecution.
